Well, I've not yet gone to polyphasic sleep. Frown

In looking at my commitments over the next couple of weeks, it seems pretty difficult to find a convenient time to do the phase in that will make it easier with my scheduling. With work, social obligations, and family commitments, there are a lot of expectations outside of my own sleep schedule that make it hard to get into this. With having a social life, how does one explain that at 10:40 pm a 20 minute nap is necessary? And then there's dealing with two toddlers and getting them to let Papa nap at noon and 5:20 in the afternoon... That's not easy! Even picking them up would be a little difficult. Of course I would have to change that nap once a week to occur at about 6pm instead, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Still, it is tough. Here's the polyphasic sleep schedule that I think I'll try:

Polyphasic Sleep Schedule
Sleep Item & Length Start TimeEnd Time
Core Sleep: 3 hours 4:00 am 7:00 am
 Nap 1: 20 minutes 12 noon 12:20 pm
 Nap 2: 20 minutes 5:20 pm 5:40 pm
 Nap 3: 20 minutes 10:40 pm  11:00 pm

The real chore is figuring out when the best time to start it is. I think I'll have to do this after the 24th of August, as I just have too much else going - time commitments that would interfere too much with my planned transition. And the Labour Day long weekend will help in the transition, too! Cool
